New classes!

We are pleased to announce that Megan Jayawardena is now joining the team at Pilates Body Centre!

Megan will be running two brand new early morning Mat Pilates classes on Thursdays!

Our 8am Intermediate Mat class will be aimed at anyone who feels confident with their Pilates, and will use small equipment within the hour-long classes, and our 9am Beginner Mat class will be for people who have never done Pilates before, or for anyone wanting to refresh and improve their basics. These are an ideal opportunity to either try something new, or to achieve a good understanding of movement and posture, setting you up for future sessions.

Megan is a Level 3 Certified Pilates Matwork Instructor, with a background in teaching languages and dance. She is also a qualified Yoga Instructor, and has been practising Pilates since the 1990's for its benefits in maintaining posture and balance, pain prevention, and increased energy. With extra qualifications in Antenatal and Postnatal exercise, Barre Fitness, and Chair-based exercise for the Frail and Elderly, etc - we look forward to having Megan as part our of team!
